Defiance, Ohio area candy company is looking for people to work their first shift,  8 am to 4:30 pm. Mon-Fri.  $18/hr.

Packager Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $18.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday)

• Package chocolate products into boxes, cartons, or display packaging.
• Inspect products for quality, appearance, and proper labeling.
• Remove damaged or defective products from the production line.
• Assemble boxes and prepare products for shipping.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following food safety and sanitation standards.
• Follow all company safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist with cleaning equipment and workstations as needed.
• Report equipment issues or product quality concerns to a supervisor.
• Perform other production duties as assigned.

Packager Qualifications:

• Must be able to stand for 8 hours
• Must be able to work with a team
• Ability to work in varying temperatures depending on the production area.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hairnets, beard nets (if applicable), gloves, and safety glasses.
• Must understand no jewelry can be worn in the plant 

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
