Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Assistant to join our team at a marijuana distributing warehouse. This position entails labeling and packaging marijuana products, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. The Packaging Assistant will work closely with the production team to support the efficient operation of the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Apply labels accurately and neatly to packaging containers in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the packaging and assembly of marijuana products, ensuring proper sealing and packaging integrity.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or incidents.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate any issues or concerns promptly.
• Perform quality control checks to verify the accuracy of labeling and packaging.
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and on time.
• Participate in training sessions as needed to stay informed about product updates, regulations, and procedures.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid OLCC marijuana license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.
• Strong work ethic and reliability, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed.
