oin our dynamic manufacturing team as a Packaging Operator, working Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating packaging machinery, ensuring products are prepared accurately and safely for shipment. Your focus will be on maintaining high-quality standards, adhering to safety protocols, and supporting continuous production flow. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills in industrial equipment operation within a fast-paced food production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging machines and equipment with precision, ensuring smooth and efficient production cycles
• Monitor machinery performance, perform routine adjustments, and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move raw materials and finished products safely within the warehouse
• Conduct quality checks on packaged products to verify proper labeling, sealing, and overall presentation
• Follow safety standards and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
• Assist in setup, changeovers, and cleaning of packaging machinery according to established procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, machine settings, and safety checks

Requirements

• Prior experience operating packaging machines or in a manufacturing setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks safely; certification is a plus
• Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills for industrial equipment
• Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols at all times
• Basic math skills for measuring and recording production data accurately
• Knowledge of GMP guidelines relevant to food production or manufacturing environments
• Comfortable using hand tools for minor adjustments or repairs on machinery
• Warehouse experience or familiarity with material handling equipment operation is advantageous
• Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods during shifts
