Introduction:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable warehouse associate to join our team and provide packaging and crating services at our facility in Novi. The job requires knowledge and experience with power tools, as well as a Chauffeur's license for local pickups with a box truck. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving and communication skills and be able to work effectively independently, and with others.
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of warehousing tasks such as loading, unloading and palletizing freight
Package, crate and account for multiple orders
Keep the facility is in good working condition
Completing local pick ups and drop offs in a cargo van or box truck
Communicate effectively with other team members and management to ensure timely completion of tasks
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance engineer or in a similar role
Skilled in a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
Valid Chauffeur's license and the ability to attain a DOT card
