Tig Welder - Sheet Metal Fabrication

Maintenance Mechanic / Electrical Mechanical

This position works in a clean and comfortable climate-controlled environment in Sturgeon Bay. Our Maintenance Technicians perform a variety of tasks related to facility and machine maintenance. Description of Duties:

Perform a variety of tasks related to facility and machine maintenance. Examine CNC, Robotic and other types of production equipment to enhance predictive and preventative maintenance practices, analyze historical failures and implement corrective action, diagnose problems, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, and reassemble machines, replace defective parts, and reassemble machines. Plan work relating to installation of new equipment, electrical services, and building maintenance, using equipment drawings, equipment specifications, and wiring diagrams. Perform other related maintenance tasks as required.

Primary Tasks:

  • Work with machine design drawings, schematic diagrams, and electrical circuitry specifications to diagnose, repair, or coordinate the repair and prevent future failures of both electrical and mechanical problems. Requires the uses of PLC and other electrical controller skills to diagnose problems or alter existing equipment functions.
  • Analyze failure of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components in machines such as controls, motors, relays, VFD's, HMI's, bearings, rails, mechanisms, compressors, valves, pumps, turbines, etc. Engineer, coordinate, and conduct repair of failed components.
  • Test and locate problems on circuit boards and repair or replace. If required, coordinate the repair of the board by others.
  • Establish and maintain predictive/preventative maintenance procedures and analyze needed spare parts for existing and future facility and production equipment and train team to execute such procedures. Analyze existing procedures for improvement.
  • Engineer predictive and preventative solutions to monitor facility and production equipment by use of analysis in vibration, ultrasonic, thermal imaging, oil viscosity, and other measurement capabilities.
  • Assist outside technical service to analyze, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning machines or equipment.
  • May be required to design and make some replacement parts or to find a source for procuring the part.
  • Required to use a variety of electrical testing instruments as well as other types of precision measuring instruments.
  • Assist the department team leader with maintaining maintenance records, with training new employees, and directing the activities of other department members.
  • Must use equipment in a proper and safe manner and maintain housekeeping standards in accordance with company policy.
  • Monitor the use of safety equipment, ensure compliance with company safety policy, and maintain a constant alert for hazardous conditions.
  • Perform building maintenance such as repairs to overhead doors, roof, drains, lights, plumbing, and other items as required.
  • Perform welding, pipe fitting and carpentry work as required. Must be familiar with the working properties of metals, and other materials.

Special Requirements:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and additional specialist training. Preferred Associates Degree in Electrical Mechanical field or similar.
  • Requires 4-5 years experience in related job functions.
  • Requires a good understanding of mathematics and electrical theory.
  • Must be able to perform assigned tasks from oral and written instructions with minimum supervision.

Sheet Metal Fabrication

Become an EMPLOYEE OWNER and work in a STATE OF THE ART sheet metal fabrication shop as a Fabricator. Help your team meet production needs by running various types of fabrication machines - press brake, laser, turret, spot welder, tig welder, insert, drill press, hand tools. Requires basic shop math, the use of measuring tools, the ability to operate machinery and the use of hand tools.

Packaging Designer

POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

Design, develop, document, and manage packaging solutions for commercial foodservice equipment. This role applies knowledge of equipment design, packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and transportation methods to ensure products are protected, cost-effective, feasible to produce, and ready for shipment.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate with New Product Development engineering teams to understand equipment specifications and develop packaging solutions for all new products. Create mockups and prototypes for review, validation, and testing.
  • Coordinate with production personnel and procurement to create, release, and maintain documentation for packaging items.
  • Design packaging that accommodates the physical characteristics of a wide range of foodservice equipment.
  • Ensure packaging designs meet applicable regulatory, safety, and customer requirements.
  • Refine and manage processes for packaging items produced in-house.
  • Select materials that balance durability, cost efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to confirm packaging feasibility, quality, and manufacturability.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including CAD drawings, material specifications, and compliance certifications.
  • Stay current with packaging trends, technologies, materials, and regulatory updates.
  • Complete CAD design and detailing work as directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency with CAD software, preferably PTC Creo.
  • Strong understanding of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and environmental considerations.
  • Strong understanding of structural design as it relates to packaging.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong desire to learn.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

EDUCATIONAL OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate degree in Industrial Design, Packaging Design, Engineering, or a related field.
