    Description

    Packaging Operator needs 2 years Packaging experience.

    Packaging Operator requires:

    • Experience on an automated Packaging line.
    • Must be in good standing with local attendance policies Additional Preferences:
    • Strong ability to multitask.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Curiosity and technical abilities/troubleshooting. Education Requirements:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Ability to wear safety equipment (safety glasses, safety shoes, protective gloves etc.).
    • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and off shifts.
    • Basic computer skills, with the capability to learn in more details
    • Excellent documentation skills.
    • Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.
    • Knows cGMP

    Packaging Operator duties:

    • Adhere to Site safety policies and procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
    • Setup and operations of equipment in packaging areas.
    • Adhere to standard operating procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure quality of product.
    • Document process steps on appropriate batch documentation. Attain and maintain qualification for the operation of assigned process equipment and duties in the area.
    • Identify opportunities for operational improvements. Proactively monitor documentation and product quality, properly documenting all activity and reporting issues to supervision.
    • Setup, operate, and clear packaging line equipment and/or ancillary support equipment to meet efficiency expectations.
    • Replenish packaging materials like wrapping paper, plastic sheets, boxes, cartons, and labeling systems to include ink, glue and paper. Inspect in-process packaging to endure consistent quality and remove defective products and packaging material in the process. Segregate finished packaged items from machine that conform to specification and separate rejected items.
    • Conduct inventory count on finished and rejected packaged items.
    • Monitor packaging and filling operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products in accordance to standards. Monitor the packaging production line to forestall potential bottlenecks, pile-ups, jams, glue not sticking properly or labels being stamp in the wrong location
    • . Place daily emphasis on meeting production standards, achieving product quality standards and maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.
