Packaging Production Supervisor, 1st shift

Seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee packaging operations in our food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This pivotal role requires a hands-on approach to managing and guiding the production team, ensuring optimal staffing levels, and cultivating a motivated and skilled workforce through continuous team-building initiatives. Key duties include orchestrating comprehensive training programs to ensure staff proficiency in production procedures, safety protocols, and adherence to company standards and regulations, including SOPs and GMPs. Addressing workplace conflicts and implementing disciplinary measures, when necessary, are also part of the role.

Effective collaboration with the Maintenance Department is essential to ensure equipment functionality and peak operational efficiency. A core element of this position is the achievement of targeted production efficiencies across various lines, directly contributing to the overall plant's productivity. Responsibilities encompass maintaining robust communication channels with team members and cross-functional departments, executing company strategies, and leading the team to establish and meet performance benchmarks. Regular meetings will be held to celebrate successes, tackle challenges, and refine action plans.

A keen analytical focus is required to review production data, identify negative trends, and develop corrective strategies. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in lean manufacturing, coupled with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
