We are seeking a hands-on Packaging Supervisor to lead a skilled team of production, sanitation, and maintenance employees. This is a frontline leadership role with direct accountability for line efficiency, labor utilization, cost control, quality, and safety across all packaging operations — on every shift, every run.

Lead packaging operations with a relentless focus on efficiency, loss control, and schedule execution — while building a high-performance team culture grounded in safety, quality, and continuous improvement in an SQF-certified environment.

Operations & Schedule Execution

Efficiency, Labor & Loss Control

•    Track and optimize labor utilization across shifts; adjust staffing to match production demand and reduce overtime costs

•    Monitor and reduce material loss and waste on packaging lines; investigate root causes and implement corrective actions

•    Analyze production data and KPIs to identify efficiency gaps and drive measurable improvements

•    Report production results and variance explanations to brewery leadership on a timely basis

SOP Development & Quality/Safety Compliance

•    Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of a robust SOP program for all packaging and sanitation operations

•    Ensure all operations comply with SQF certification standards, HACCP requirements, and internal quality protocols

•    Champion safety programs and OSHA compliance; enforce safe work practices across all shifts

•    Facilitate two-way communication between packaging employees and brewery leadership; promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

•    Support ongoing process improvement initiatives and drive a positive, change-ready team culture

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

•    Minimum 7 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage or CPG manufacturing

•    Demonstrated leadership in a high-speed, high-volume packaging or production environment

•    Proven ability to manage labor efficiency, control costs, and drive line performance improvements

•    Experience developing and implementing SOPs in a regulated manufacturing setting

•    Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; comfortable presenting to all levels of the organization

•    Detail-oriented with flexibility to work extended or off-shift hours as business demands require

•    Positive attitude and track record as a champion of change in a fast-paced environment

Preferred
