Shipping and Packaging Associate

Help make sure every order is accurate and ready to ship

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team member to verify and package parts for shipment. You’ll check parts against the packing list, confirm quantities, and package products carefully to help prevent shipping damage. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, can keep up in a high-volume environment, and is willing to learn.

What you’ll do

• Verify that parts match the descriptions on the packing list.
• Count parts to confirm quantities match the order.
• Pack parts in boxes and take care to minimize damage during shipping.
• Use packaging machines as needed.
• Use a computer and shipping software to support shipping tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.

What you’ll bring

• Reliability and strong attention to detail.
• Computer experience; willingness to learn new systems and processes.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
• Prior shipping experience preferred; familiarity with UPS or FedEx software is a plus.
• Ability to safely navigate a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day.

Work environment

This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment that may involve exposure to noise and varying temperatures. The role requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Salary Range

$18–19/hr
