We have a great opportunity for a Packer with a local manufacturing company!
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous manufacturing or packaging experience preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and perform basic math.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and food safety procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect and pack products according to quality standards.
- Assemble cartons, pack products, and seal and label boxes.
- Monitor product quality and record production, spoilage, and defects.
- Remove scrap materials and report quality or equipment issues.
- Maintain production efficiency and communicate with team members during shift changes.
- Follow all safety, GMP, ISO, and food safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment with moving machinery.
- May involve exposure to noise, heat, humidity, and vibration.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, and repetitive hand movements.
- Hearing protection is required in designated areas.
HOURS
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
PAY
- 1st Shift: $15.00/hr
- 2nd Shift: $17.00/hr (includes $2.00/hr shift differential)
- 3rd Shift: $17.00/hr (includes $2.00/hr shift differential)
