About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Packing Specialist to join our manufacturing team in Garden Grove. This role involves packaging aerospace parts and components with care to ensure damage-free shipping. The Packing Specialist will inspect parts, verify documentation, and use appropriate packing materials to meet safety and quality standards while adhering to production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Package aerospace parts and components using boxes, foam, protective wraps, bags, and labels to prevent damage during shipping.
• Inspect parts for visible defects, damage, or discrepancies before packaging.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, labels, and accompanying documentation for accuracy.
• Follow established packaging instructions, work orders, and quality procedures.
• Safely handle and move materials and finished products according to safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety, quality, and security procedures.
• Complete packing and production paperwork accurately.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and shipping teams to meet daily deadlines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support team goals.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in order picking and packing with knowledge of packaging aerospace parts.
• Ability to handle products weighing up to 30 lbs. according to safety procedures.
• Familiarity with verifying part numbers, quantities, labels, and documentation.
• Ability to follow packaging instructions, work orders, and quality procedures accurately.
• Basic inspection skills to identify visible defects or discrepancies in parts.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in aerospace manufacturing or related industries.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and security procedures within manufacturing settings.

Tools & Equipment

• Packing materials such as boxes, foam, protective wraps, bags, and labels.
• Documentation tools for accurate paperwork completion.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Able to lift and handle items up to 30 lbs.
• Work performed in a manufacturing environment, requiring physical handling of parts and packaging materials.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards in the workspace.
