What Youll Do
- Provide pre-operative, Phase I recovery, and Phase II recovery care to pediatric and adult patients.
- Support patients across a broad range of surgical and procedural services.
- Monitor patients throughout post-anesthesia recovery and identify changes requiring intervention.
- Deliver care for patients undergoing procedures involving surgical, endoscopy, interventional radiology, pulmonary, imaging, and related services.
- Work with patients of varying ages and clinical needs, excluding those requiring critical care services.
- Use Epic and unit equipment, including Hoyer lifts, bladder scanners, and AccuVein devices.
- Collaborate with the care team to promote safe transitions through the perioperative process.
What You Need
Required- Registered Nurse license.
- Current ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certifications.
- Epic experience.
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts.
- Willingness to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods during the assignment.
- Availability for 23 scheduled weekends during the contract.
- Flexibility to float to pediatric PACU as needed.
Preferred- PACU or pre-operative/post-operative nursing experience.
- Critical care post-operative experience.
