Summary

This position provides material delivery, preparation, and replenishment support to the Fabrication Department. This position's primary focus is to support direct production activities allowing production personnel to focus exclusively on value-added work. A Water Spider ensures that all production lines have the necessary material to successfully run production during the designated shift.

What You''ll Do

The paint prep is responsible to remove the dirt from the surface and parts due for painting. You may sand, polish, retouch or clean the surface. You may also mix color, blend paint, and load paint into spray-painting equipment.

• Check prints or drawings for special instructions prior to starting the paint prep process.
• Remove surface oils by washing down the part with water, and blowing dry with an air nozzle.
• Mask parts when it is indicated on the prints or drawings.
• Plug or cap hardware to protect from paint.

What You''ll Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Requires a minimum of 1 -2 years of related experience
• Ability to receive verbal or written instructions that pertains to daily tasks.

At Sanmina, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $45,760 and $47,840 ($22.00 - $23.00 per hour), and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
