Painter

Come join our team as a Painter at WilCo Property Solutions, a locally owned small business serving Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky.

We treat every property like our own, providing clean job sites, a respectful on sight presence, and exceptional cleanup.

Pay rate between $20-$27 per hour.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs are not overlooked

• Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the job site.

• Atleast, 1 year experience. (Preferred)

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This reflects the general daily duties for an interior painting project. Some of these duties could be modified to fit the project, such as exterior painting, or unoccupied structures.

• Punctuality: Arrive to the job site at the appointed time.

• Collaboration: Establish a plan of action, with the jobsite manager.

• Equipment preparation: Begin unloading the necessary tools, equipment, and materials that are required to execute the plan of action .

• Site preparation: Begin moving furniture and start applying protection materials such as masking tape, plastic, drop clothes, masking paper, floor coverings, etc.

• Surface preparation: Begin necessary prep work such as scraping, priming, drywall corrections, caulking, sanding, dust removal, etc.

• Using the standard tools of trade: Setting up and taking down ladders and scaffolds, perform various professional painting services such as cutting in with paint brushes, rolling walls with paint rollers, spraying with an airless sprayer

• Cleaning up: About 45 minutes before the end of the workday, begin cleaning up the work areas by removing any loose protective materials such as drop clothes and plastic, vacuuming all floors, wiping down all hard surfaces, cleaning all paint tools, and returning all tools to their original location.

• Client communication: Make contact with the occupant of the house to gain entry and communicate your daily progress to the residents.
