Position OverviewFleming & Curti, PLC is a distinguished Tucson law firm with an opportunity for an experienced paralegal or legal assistant. For more than 30 years, the Firm has assisted families with traditional trust and estates work, including estate planning, guardianships/ conservatorships, trust and probate administrations. We are seeking a friendly and self‑motivated paralegal or legal assistant to join our team.Key ResponsibilitiesDrafting and filing pleadings in guardianship/conservatorship casesOrganizing financial records, bank statements, receipts, and supporting documentationPreparing and reviewing inventories, court accountingsPreparing and reviewing guardianship reportsManaging court‑approval process for settlementsTracking statutory deadlines and calendaring hearings and deadlinesProofreading and drafting general correspondencePreparing fee agreements and running conflict checksQualificationsQualified candidates will have experience preparing conservatorship accountings, managing court deadlines, communicating with fiduciaries and families, and assisting with probate court filings and case management. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, appreciation for confidentiality, and familiarity with Arizona probate procedures. We seek candidates who enjoy multi‑tasking and working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.Additional qualifications include a positive attitude, a sense of humor, reliability, strong proofreading skills, and a desire to learn. This position requires someone who has excellent discretion and is comfortable working independently as well as working with a team.Hours and CompensationFull‑time position: 40 hours in‑office per week. Working hours are 8am – 5pm, with an hour for lunch.
