North Reading High School is seeking full time Special Education Paraprofessionals to support students throughout the school day starting in the 2026-2027 school year. This position is five (5) days per week (Monday through Friday) and 35.0 hours per week.
Essential Duties
Assist and support professional staff in implementing the Individualized Education Program for students and other special education programming
Support in the implementation of curriculum modifications for specified students
Provide physical assistance to students with disabilities as required
Facilitate establishing and maintaining standards of student behavior
Support teacher with preparation of instructional materials
Collaborate on school-based supervision of arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, bus duty, and /or classrooms
Cover general office duties as needed
Provide assistance to the principal and staff in the daily management of the school
Substitute at all grade levels as requested
Assume other duties/responsibilities as designated by the Principal, Teacher, and/or Designee
