We are seeking a compassionate and dependable nursing assistant to join our team for a part-time evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. In this role, you will provide direct care and support to residents, helping to promote comfort, dignity, and well-being in a supportive care environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition, behavior, or needs to the nursing team
- Support resident safety by following care plans, infection control procedures, and facility policies
- Help with positioning, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques and equipment
- Provide assistance with meals, hydration, and general comfort measures
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided as required
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with residents, families, and team members
- Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests within the scope of practice
Qualifications
- Current certification as a nursing assistant, where required by state or facility regulations
- Previous experience in a long-term care, assisted living, hospital, or similar care setting preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate, resident-centered care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions, care plans, and established procedures
- Dependable attendance and reliability for scheduled evening shifts
- Ability to safely perform physical tasks related to resident care
