Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Accountant / Bookkeeper to assist with day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting needs. This is an on-site position in Orange County, California. Remote work is not available.  Schedule is flexible.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and highly proficient with QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate books in QuickBooks Online
  • Record and categorize transactions
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Review and clean up general ledger accounts
  • Prepare monthly financial reports
  • Assist with month-end closing
  • Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
  • Work with management and outside CPA/tax professionals as needed
  • Identify discrepancies and help resolve bookkeeping issues

Qualifications

  • Strong QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience required
  • Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Solid understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles
  • Experience with bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Proficient with Excel or Google Sheets
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organized, reliable, and able to work independently
  • Good communication and follow-through
  • Must be able to work on-site in Orange County

Experience working with small or privately held businesses is a plus.
