Part-time Accountant
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE OF THE PART-TIME ACCOUNTANT:
ABOUT THE COMPANY
- Our client is a leading organization in the Columbus market.
- They are a growing company looking to add a part-time Accountant to their team.

- Looking for a long-term partner for their accounting group.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PART-TIME ACCOUNTANT:
- The part-time Accountant will summarize details in separate ledgers and transfer data to general ledger.
- The part-time Accountant will verify, allocate and post details of business transactions to general ledger.
- Reconcile and balance accounts.
- Compile reports to show cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to operation of business.
- Process accounts payable weekly.
- Generate monthly statements to customers.
- Complete records to or though trial balance.
- The part-time Accountant will support month-end close process.
- 20-25 hours per week.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE OF THE PART-TIME ACCOUNTANT:
- Accounts payable experience is a must
- General accounting experience
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid computer skills-including Excel
- Friendly and willing to help where necessary
Salary Range: $21 - $26 per hour based on experience. This is an in-office position.
