Target Compensation: $25-30 commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Prepare and record payroll-related journal entries and ensure payroll transactions are accurately reflected in the general ledger.
  • Monitor cash activity, prepare cash reports, and record cash receipts in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Reconcile assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts, researching and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Support the month-end close process through journal entry preparation, account analyses, and supporting schedules.
  • Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with established accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• 
  
• All levels of accounting experience encouraged to apply, preferably in a nonprofit, healthcare, or service-based environment.
  • Experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
