Part Time Accounts Payable Intern

Gellert Global Group consists of many of the leading North American food importing companies (Atalanta Corporation, Camerican International, Finica, GGG Manufacturing) and has been involved in importing food products for over 100 years. The combined revenues of GGG exceed $1.7 billion. GGG companies provide strength in sourcing, insurance, finance, logistics, food safety and information technology, and supplies the needs of retailers, distributors, foodservice chains, hotels, cruise lines, and food manufacturers alike.

GGG is seeking a part-time Accounts Payable Intern. This will require 10-15 hours per week M – W and will be based in our Elizabeth office until end of 2026, then based in Madison, NJ beginning in 2027.

Summary/Objective:

The AP intern will provide the intern hands-on experience with the Accounts Payable payment process while ensuring suppliers are paid correctly and on time. The intern will work with purchase orders, supplier invoices, Nexus, M3, and payment proposals while learning how A/P works with the supply chain and finance teams.

Essential Functions and Projects:

• Find purchase orders and approved supplier invoices that should be included in upcoming payments.
• Find and review supplier invoices and supporting documents in Nexus.
• Check supplier invoices against purchase orders and payment information to make sure the details are correct.
• Research missing documents or differences and ask the appropriate A/P team member for help when needed.
• Help prepare and review payment proposals to ensure suppliers are paid correctly and on time.
• Learn the full Accounts Payable process including how Nexus, M3, and supplier payments work together.

Salary Range:$20.00/hr.

Our company will be relocating to a new corporate headquarters in Madison, NJ in Q1 of 2027. Candidates should be comfortable with this upcoming change in location.
