Part-Time Assistant Teacher 12–6 PM EEC Certification Required

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children? Ethos Early Learning Center in South Boston is seeking a Part-Time Support Staff Teacher to join our dedicated team.

About the Role
As a Support Staff Teacher, you will provide crucial assistance across our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms. You’ll be a key team member, ensuring the day runs smoothly and that all children receive the highest-quality care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Float between classrooms as needed, providing support to lead teachers.
• Assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.
• Support the team in daily routines, including feeding, diapering, and facilitating activities.
• Communicate effectively with team members and parents.
• Follow directions, adapt quickly, and contribute to a collaborative and positive workplace.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children younger than 3 years old in a childcare setting is required.
• Currently enrolled in an Early Childhood Education program or a related field.
• A strong team player who is reliable and punctual.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with both the team and families.
• Passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development and well-being.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to various classroom settings.
• EEC I/T Teaching Certifications or Qualifications required

Hours:

• Part-time, Monday to Friday, 12 PM to 6 PM
