Part-Time Delivery Driver, Class A CDL

Position Overview

The Relief Driver position requires driving tractors with trailers up to 53'' in length to deliver goods to stores and meeting all company policies and delivery schedules as well as DOT rules and regulations. This position also requires working in the warehouse while meeting warehouse standards and developing good working relationships with stores and/or company personnel.

Description

• Utilizing the specialized skills developed with experience and the C&S Professional Driver Training Program, you will operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (semi-truck/eighteen-wheeler/box truck, etc), applying knowledge of training and commercial driving regulations, to transport and safely deliver product

• Driver will load and unload (ambient or temperature sensitive) product to customers on an average of 3-10 stops per day

• Driver will inspect, document and ensure equipment is operable in compliance with all regulatory and company requirements

• Inspect equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements

• All other duties as assigned

• Warehouse : Store/Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)

Skills

• Specialized Knowledge : Class A Commercial Driver''s License; Must be DOT certified with all qualification requirements.

• Special Skills : Quality and customer-service focused

• Physical abilities: : Valid Department Of Transportation Physical Exam

• Other: : Must be at least 21 years old; Enjoy working with people; Electronic logging according to Company policy and FMCSA regulations; Comply with FMCSR, DOT & Company policies and procedures.

• 1-2 : Recent tractor-trailer experience.

• 1-2 : Supporting a large Enterprise Storage environment.

• 1-2 : One year of recent applicable CMV experience or participation/completion of a company approved CDL truck driving school
