Our Drivers are responsible for all activities related to the delivery of orders to Nice Guys Delivery customers. Drivers deliver products to the end consumer using a company-owned vehicle, process transactions for the order at the point of delivery and reconcile their orders with the dispatch team. Drivers who work evening shifts are also responsible for parking their cars in the company garage. Drivers collaborate with the entire Nice Guys team to ensure on-time product deliveries and follow the company's strategic product goals and consumer needs.
Nice Guy Drivers are responsible for a locked bin of commonly purchased items. This bin is kept in the vehicle during the driving shift. The items in this bin have been curated by our staff as the most likely items that a customer might forget while ordering. On the occasion that you are doing a delivery transaction and the customer mentions they forgot to add a lighter or pipe to the order you will have the ability to help the customer out immediately. For all upsells you will need to contact the office for them to add the item to the current transaction or initiate another transaction for the upsold item. At the end of the driving shift drivers are responsible for restocking the product bin to the correct inventory. All upsell inventory is kept locked in the drivers inventory cage in the breakroom.
Drivers are an essential part of our business, as Nice Guys customers could not receive our products without our Drivers! Drivers are often the only face-to-face interaction our customers have with members of the Nice Guy team, so it's critical that our Drivers represent the company in a professional, friendly manner and leave the customer feeling taken care of and with a positive impression of the business.
Drivers will be encouraged and mentored by their supervisor to develop the skills, experience, and confidence to make daily decisions that have the potential to impact the business.
