Duty Days Part Time Qualifications:

Bachelor's

degree

in

Reading

Active

Texas

Teacher's

certification

in

reading

or

a

related

field.

Trained

in

Reading

by

Design,

preferred

Experience requires:

Knowledge

of

best

practices

in

elementary

school

small-group

instruction.

Experience

working

with

struggling

readers.

Experience

with

Google

Suite,

virtual

learning

platforms

and

general

technology

skills

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

Provide

targeted

instruction

to

students

who

qualify

for

dyslexia

and/or

dysgraphia.

Participate

and

coordinate

with

the

district

level

Dyslexia

Program

Coordinators

in

the

training,

preparation

and

delivery

of

the

district's

dyslexia

intervention

program

for

students

identified

as

struggling

in

reading.

Maintain

daily

documentation

and

service

logs

for

the

provision

of

dyslexia

and/or

dysgraphia

intervention

services.

Comply

with

Klein

ISD

dyslexia

intervention

procedures

to

ensure

the

program

is

implemented

with

fidelity.

Maintain

accurate

pupil

accounting

records

in

compliance

with

local

and

state

requirements.

Perform

all

other

job-related

duties

as

assigned

by

the

Student

Support

Services

Department

or

the

campus

principal. Work Conditions:
