Part-Time Infant Nanny – Austin, TX 78723
A family in Austin, TX 78723 is seeking a nurturing, dependable, and experienced Part-Time Nanny to care for their 2-month-old baby. Dad works from home, and Mom is currently on maternity leave. During this time, the nanny will provide attentive care for the baby while Mom runs errands and takes care of other responsibilities.
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: End of December 2026
- Schedule: 3 days per week; days are flexible
- Hours: Approximately 8:00 AM–1:00 PM, 15–18 hours per week
- Pay: $25–$30/hour
- Children: One 2-month-old baby
- Pets: 2 dogs
Responsibilities:
- Provide loving and attentive care for the baby
- Bottle-feed and burp the baby as needed
- Handle diaper changes and basic infant care
- Follow the baby’s feeding and sleeping routines
- Provide age-appropriate tummy time and developmental activities
- Practice safe sleep and maintain a safe environment
- Keep bottles and baby-related areas clean and organized
- Communicate with parents regarding feedings, naps, diaper changes, and the baby’s day
Requirements:
- Previous professional experience caring for newborns and young infants
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Knowledge of infant safety, feeding, and developmental needs
- Patient, nurturing, attentive, and dependable
- Comfortable working in a home with parents present
- Comfortable around two dogs
