Pay: $17.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience

Position Overview


Beloit Auction Service, Inc. is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individual to help maintain our new 55,000-square-foot auction facility in Beloit, Wisconsin.


This position will primarily focus on janitorial duties, general cleaning, and keeping our facility clean, organized, and presentable for our employees, customers, and clients. Prior janitorial experience is required, and previous facilities maintenance experience is a plus.


We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can work independently with minimal supervision.


Primary Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, breakrooms, customer areas, and common spaces.
  
  
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors throughout the facility.
  
  
• Empty trash and recycling containers.
  
  
• Clean windows, doors, counters, fixtures, and other surfaces.
  
  
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies.
  
  
• Maintain cleanliness of auction showrooms, warehouse areas, and customer pickup areas.
  
  
• Assist with general building upkeep and preventative maintenance.
  
  
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as experience allows.
  
  
• Help maintain exterior entrances, sidewalks, and surrounding areas.
  
  
• Assist with seasonal maintenance, including shoveling snow and spreading ice melt on sidewalks, entrances, and other pedestrian areas as needed to maintain safe access.
  
  
• Identify and report maintenance concerns or needed repairs.
  
  
• Perform other general cleaning and facility-related duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, commercial cleaning, or custodial experience required.
  
  
• Previous facilities maintenance or general handyman experience is a plus.
  
  
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean facility.
  
  
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
  
  
• Ability to perform physical work, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving cleaning equipment.
  
  
• Willingness to perform occasional outdoor duties in varying weather conditions, including snow and ice removal.
  
  
• Willingness to assist with a variety of tasks as needed.
  
  

Compensation & Schedule

• $17.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
  
  
• Part-time position with flexible scheduling.
