Part time Lab Technician

Part time Lab Technician needs 3 years experience

Part time Lab Technician requires:

24 hours weekly, 3 days onsite

3 years experience in biological research with mammalian cell culture and immunohistochemistry

Experience with ES cell/iPS cell culture and neural organoid culture is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, as well as stand, sit, reach, and kneel for laboratory organization and inventory control tasks

Management skills in operating the laboratory smoothly by scheduling staff, tracking and monitoring equipment, replenishing supplies, and maintaining all security protocols and standards.

Part time Lab Technician duties:

Organizes the collected data and pictures.

Assists research scientists to develop experimental protocols and procedures.

Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, such as safe handling of biohazard materials and toxic chemical substances; conducts laboratory inspections as necessary.

Monitors, organizes, stocks, receives, tracks inventory, and orders supplies (chemicals, reagents, personal protective equipment, etc.).
