Part time Lab Technician

Part time Lab Technician needs 3 years experience

Part time Lab Technician requires:

* 24 hours weekly, 3 days onsite

* 3 years experience in biological research with mammalian cell culture and immunohistochemistry

* Experience with ES cell/iPS cell culture and neural organoid culture is preferred.

* Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, as well as stand, sit, reach, and kneel for laboratory organization and inventory control tasks

* Management skills in operating the laboratory smoothly by scheduling staff, tracking and monitoring equipment, replenishing supplies, and maintaining all security protocols and standards.

Part time Lab Technician duties:

* Organizes the collected data and pictures.

* Assists research scientists to develop experimental protocols and procedures.

* Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, such as safe handling of biohazard materials and toxic chemical substances; conducts laboratory inspections as necessary.

* Monitors, organizes, stocks, receives, tracks inventory, and orders supplies (chemicals, reagents, personal protective equipment, etc.).
