Apollo Men's Health is seeking a reliable and compassionate Part-Time Medical Assistant to support our clinical team and ensure a smooth and positive patient experience. The ideal candidate will assist providers with clinical duties, patient care, and daily clinic operations.
Position Type: Part-Time
Clinical Duties
Perform venipuncture and blood draws safely and accurately
Admiister intramuscular (IM), subcutaneous (SubQ), and other injections as directed by providers
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
Record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight
Assist providers during medical procedures and patient visits
Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
Maintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Patient Care
Educate patients on treatments, medications, and follow-up instructions
Ensure patients feel comfortable and informed during their visit
Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism
Clinic Support
Prepare exam rooms and medical equipment
Maintain proper sanitation and infection control standards
Stock and organize medical supplies
Assist with patient check-in/check-out as needed
Maintain clean and organized clinical areas
Requirements
1–3 years of Medical Assistant experience
Experience with blood draws and injections
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced clinical environment
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Familiarity with EMR systems preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
Experience in men’s health, wellness clinics, or primary care
Experience with IV therapy or hormone therapy injections is a plus
