    Job Description

    POSITION DESCRIPTION: Southeastern Technical Institute is a hiring part-time instructor for the day Medical Assisting program.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Possession of a current national certification as a medical assistant or medical assistant/secretary.
    • Four (4) years within the last seven years of full-time employment directly related to medical assisting; and
    • Associate degree or higher related to the subject matter and skills to be taught with at least 18 credit hours directly related to medical assisting
    • Teaching experience preferred.

    Candidates with a Chapter 74 teaching license in Medical Assisting and a current certification as a medical assistant or medical assistant/secretary preferred.
