Part Time Music Teacher

Responsible for carrying out the NYS music curriculum

• Developing lesson plans to be submitted weekly
• Teaching general styles of music
• Incorporating musical instruments and movement in lessons
• Knowledge of liturgical hymns and ability to teach students liturgical hymns
• Experience with conducting production/performances: Lower School Christmas pageant and Sprint Concert for Upper School
• Preparing students for school concerts and planned music experiences
• Communicates well with parents
• Create an enjoyable learning environment to inspire young minds and help them grow in appreciation of music
• Strong knowledge of technology and utilizing technology to enhance music instruction
• Google Classroom experience

Salary Range is $177 - $261 per diem, depending on degree.
