Assumption BVM Catholic School in Pulaski is seeking a dedicated part time ART Physical Education. As a small, rural school serving approximately 80 students from 3K through Grade 6, we pride ourselves on our close-knit community and personalized instruction. This role involves teaching and collaborating with a supportive staff of 15 professionals to foster both the academic and spiritual growth of our students. As the PE teacher, the candidate would teach PE classes 2 to 3 days a week for all grade levels, prepare and guide students in special activities, and keep gym and storage organized and tidy.
Instructional Leadership: Develop and implement engaging, rigorous lesson plans in Physical Education.
Faith Formation: Integrate Catholic values and teachings into PE activities.
Differentiated Instruction: Manage a classroom environment by tailoring instruction to meet the diverse academic, social, and emotional needs of students.
Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, safe, and organized learning environment that reflects the mission and values of the Diocese of Green Bay.
Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and the parish community to support student success and school-wide initiatives.
Assessment: Utilize formal and informal assessments to monitor student progress and use data to drive instructional decisions.
Candidate Requirements
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education or Physical Education and Health.
Licensure: Must hold (or be eligible for) a valid Wisconsin Teaching License.
