Salerno's is looking for a dependable, hardworking Part-Time Pizza Maker to join our team at our McHenry location. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen, take pride in preparing quality food, and thrive in a team environment, we'd love to meet you.
Schedule
We are currently hiring for evening shifts on:
- Friday
- Saturday
- Sunday
- Monday
Hours may vary based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to Salerno's recipes and quality standards.
- Stretch dough, top pizzas, and monitor cooking times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
- Prep ingredients and stock the pizza station before service.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely order completion.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with general kitchen duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous pizza-making or kitchen experience is preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right person.
- Ability to work efficiently during busy dinner shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
