About the Role:
The Lion of Judah Early Learning Centers in Windsor Mill, MD is looking for a warm, energetic, and passionate Part-Time Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners during their most formative years. Shifts Available:

• Monday-Friday 7am -1pm
• Monday-Friday 2-6pm
• Mon- Wed- Fri 9-6pm

  Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for preschool-aged children
• Support a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, and transitions
• Help implement early childhood curriculum aligned with developmental milestones
• Communicate positively and professionally with parents and guardians
• Assist with classroom setup, cleanup, and preparation of learning materials
• Observe and report on children's behavior, progress, and needs to the lead teacher

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Prior experience working with preschool or early childhood-aged children
• Genuine passion for child development and early learning
• Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass a background check and meet state childcare compliance requirements
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliable, punctual, and a collaborative team player
