Part Time Sales Associate

POSITION FUNCTION/OVERVIEW: 

This position is a part-time position responsible for assisting customers and merchandising store in accordance with quality guidelines

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supports and maintains a culture of customer service excellence
• Greets customers at back donation receiving door
• Follows guidelines for the intake, pricing and sorting of all items
• Follows guidelines for display of merchandise in an attractive and organized manner
• Operates cash register and assists customers with purchases
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Minimum of 18 years old, High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred, 2 – 3 years retail sales experience highly preferred.

SKILLS:

• Good communication skills
• Ability to do simple mathematical calculations
• Analyze complex information
• Ability to handle multiple projects
• Ability to operate a cash register and calculator
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
