Job Skills / Requirements
Job Title: Unarmed Security Officer
Location: Dawson, PA
Schedule: Monday-Wednesday | 7:00 PM-5:00 AM
Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol the assigned property to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Identify and report security concerns, safety hazards, suspicious activity, and emergencies.
- Respond to incidents in accordance with site procedures and company policies.
- Complete accurate and legible incident reports and document unusual activity.
- Follow all site-specific post orders, policies, and procedures.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service when interacting with employees, visitors, and clients.
- Contact supervisors or appropriate personnel when issues arise.
- Attend required site and company training.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to remain alert, exercise good judgment, and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Reliable transportation to and from the assigned location.
- Must successfully complete required background screening and drug/alcohol testing, if applicable.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods as required by the assignment.
