Part-Time Shop Helper
Job Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Approximately 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with a start and end time between 5:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Shop Helper to assist with daily manufacturing and shop operations. This position will primarily involve cleaning and washing parts, disassembling components, and providing basic assembly support as needed.
Responsibilities
- Wash, clean, and prepare parts for assembly or production.
- Disassemble components as needed to assist the production team.
- Assist with basic assembly and shop tasks.
- Move and organize parts and materials throughout the shop.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Provide general support to assemblers and other shop personnel.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
- Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Previous manufacturing or shop experience is a plus but not required.
Schedule
- This is a part-time position working approximately 4 hours per day. The schedule must fall between 5:00 AM and 3:00 PM, with specific hours to be determined.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive cleaning, washing, and handling of parts.
Work Environment
- This position is based in a manufacturing shop environment and requires hands-on work with parts, materials, and shop equipment. Safety procedures and appropriate protective equipment must be followed.
