Our team works closely with neighboring Pieper Veterinary hospitals and the Specialty/ER team in Middletown to provide exceptional patient care while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.

As our Veterinary Assistant, you'll work alongside veterinarians and technicians providing patient care, assisting with examinations and treatments, supporting hospital operations, and helping create a positive experience for both clients and their pets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already has veterinary hospital experience and is looking to join a team that values initiative, communication, and attention to detail.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE | NON-NEGOTIABLE

• Minimum 2 years of Veterinary Assistant or veterinary hospital experience
• Experience handling and restraining animals safely and confidently
• Ability to work independently and take initiative throughout the day
• Strong communication and client service skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be available to work every Saturday
• Must be 18 years of age or older

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS | NOT A DEAL BREAKER

• Experience in a general practice veterinary hospital
• Experience assisting with patient treatments and examinations
• Experience supporting Veterinary Technicians and Doctors during procedures
• Familiarity with EzyVet or similar veterinary software
• Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology
• Experience maintaining treatment and exam areas
• Interest in continuing education and professional development
