    Visiting Part-Time Faculty Advertisement

    Description

    The Environmental Studies Department at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a visiting part-time faculty position to teach one course in Environmental Law during the fall semester to begin in August 2026. Scheduling of the course meeting days and time is flexible.

    There are no employee benefits associated with this part-time visiting faculty appointment.

    Compensation for teaching one course in the Fall semester is $8,000.


    The College will not support H-1B applications that require the $100,000 employer fee.


    QUALIFICATIONS
    Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate
    teaching and inclusive pedagogies as informed by current practice and scholarship in the field.

    J.D. preferred. Candidates should also possess relevant professional experience in the practice of environmental law or policy making.
