The Cedarburg School District seeks a responsible, energetic individual with a positive attitude and excellent work ethic to serve as a part-time weekend custodian. The nature of the position requires an individual who is reliable, self-motivated, reports to work on time when scheduled and is able to work independently. The primary objective of the position is to perform all custodial duties to keep facilities clean and orderly. Provide community, staff, and students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, and clean environment in which to learn, play, and develop. Saturday and Sunday hours - willing to dicuss schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Clean all assigned areas using proper methods and equipment
  • Ability to work weekends with flexibility
  • Conduct district wide weekend building security checks
  • Develop good will for the school through a courteous, cheerful and helpful attitude
  • Collect and dispose of all waste in proper containers
  • Move/deliver all furniture, equipment, supplies, etc
  • Remove snow as required
  • Responsible for setup and take down of events
  • Provide building security (lock and unlock as assigned)
  • Take care of custodial equipment providing proper preventative maintenance
  • Maintain work orders and their completion in a timely fashion
  • Submit work orders for equipment and facilities needing repair outside your capabilities
  • Perform such other duties as assigned by the Director of Buildings and Grounds
