In this hands-on role, you will deburr, clean, inspect, and process flat sheet materials while working from blueprints and router instructions. The ideal candidate brings good dexterity, visual acuity, and a consistent commitment to quality and safety.
Location: Milford, CT
Shift: 1^st shift
Pay: $17.50/hr

Responsibilities

• Deburr flat sheets of various sizes and shapes by hand using files or stones.
• Clean and inspect materials for imperfections.
• Operate punch press machines for sheet-processing operations.
• Read and follow blueprints and router instructions.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools, including calipers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical schooling is a plus.
• Strong finger dexterity and visual acuity.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to perform work involves approximately 80% sitting and 20% standing.
• Ability to manually handle and process sheet materials.
• Ability to use hand tools and machinery safely.
• Willingness to travel minimally, primarily for training or coordination between facilities.
