Byerly Aviation is looking for a Full Time Parts Clerk in the Aircraft Maintenance DepartmentFull Time, First Shift, WeekdaysDuties and ResponsibilitiesProvide parts service for customers and provide additional information and services as requiredProvide parts service for mechanics and technicians. Provide additional information and services as requiredCreate work orders for maintenance and avionics when neededEnter DiscrepanciesCreating purchase orders for vendors when ordering partsEnter changes in Total FBO made by the Director of Maintenance for final invoicing to the customerOrdering for all departments when needed, shop supplies, parts, etc.Oversee the preservation of all articles or parts, while carried in inventory, including parts that are subject to deterioration and shelf life specificationsAssist in shipping for all departments as neededMaintain shipping stockKeep updated inventory, keep current by relabeling and bar-coding for digital transition and reorganizingMaintain shop consumable stock in shop roomQualificationsMS Word and MS Excel Proficiency Strong verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environmentExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to interact with all levels of the organization and external customersHigh school diploma or equivalentData entry or service support experience requiredMust have the ability to work with patience and courtesy in customer relationsEssential FunctionsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
