    Job Description

    The Parts Dept driver plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience by coordinating the delivery of parts and supplies to our whole sale customers. This position involves interacting with customers, handling vehicles with care, and providing exceptional service to enhance overall customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role may include checking in order, stocking parts shelves and learning the basic operation of the parts counter.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Customer Service:

      • Maintain a clean and organized work area and vehicle.
      • Provide a high level of customer service by anticipating customer needs and addressing concerns promptly.
      • Follow up with customers as needed to ensure satisfaction with the service process.
    •  Pickup/Delivery:.

      • Manage the pickup and delivery of parts/supplies, ensuring timely and secure transport.
      • Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes.
    • Communication:

      • Effectively communicate Parts dept personnel and dealership management.
    • Compliance and Safety:

      • Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to vehicle handling and customer service.
      • Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of customers, vehicles, and staff.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to handle vehicles of various sizes and types.
    • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    Working Conditions:

    • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
    • Physical ability to stand, walk, and maneuver vehicles throughout the shift and lift object of 50 lbs on a regular basis.
    • Work environment may include exposure to varying weather conditions.
    • Must be able to operate a vehicle safely and responsibly while shuttling customers and managing pickups/deliveries.
