Schedule: Full-Time; Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Penmac Staffing is hiring a Parts Finisher for a manufacturing facility in the Springfield area. In this role, you will help support production by cleaning and preparing metal parts using specialized equipment while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards. RequirementsQualified candidates should be able to:
- Read and understand basic English instructions and safety information
- Follow established safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain attention to detail when cleaning, counting, and handling parts
- Demonstrate good time management and organizational skills
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Work in a manufacturing environment and adapt to changing production demands
- Recognize equipment or process issues and report concerns appropriately
- Coordinate hand and eye movements effectively while performing repetitive tasks
ResponsibilitiesAs a Parts Finisher, you will:
- Operate centrifuges and the Durr Echo Cleaning System to clean and dry metal parts
- Monitor cleaning solution levels and maintain proper solution mixtures
- Accurately count parts for inventory and quality control purposes
- Maintain clean workstations, equipment, and production areas
- Safely handle metal parts and materials according to company procedures
- Support production flow through efficient processing of parts
- Identify workplace hazards and report safety concerns
- Follow quality standards and production requirements
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
