Pastry Is Art Inc is looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to join our creative team in North Miami, FL! Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods to recipe and quality standards
• Assist in developing and plating new dessert menu items with creativity and consistency
• Maintain proper mise en place and ensure all pastry stations are stocked and organized
• Monitor and manage ingredient inventory, including proper storage and rotation (FIFO)
• Operate and maintain baking equipment including ovens, mixers, and tempering machines
• Uphold food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards in compliance with health codes
• Collaborate with kitchen team to coordinate timing and delivery of dessert courses

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in a professional pastry or baking environment
• Strong understanding of baking science, ingredient ratios, and recipe execution
• Food Handler Certification or ServSafe certification preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Team player with a positive attitude and passion for the pastry arts
