Job Details
Support all phases of ITC Section 337 investigations from pre-institution strategy through hearing and post-hearing briefing
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents before the U.S. International Trade Commission
Assist with fact and expert discovery, including document review and deposition preparation
Participate in hearing preparation, witness development, and exhibit organization
Conduct legal research involving patent law, ITC procedures, and unfair trade practices
Collaborate with attorneys, technical experts, economists, and clients on litigation strategy
Analyze complex legal and technical issues involving cutting-edge technologies
Support litigation efforts in related district court, PTAB, and appellate matters
Contribute to case strategy development and trial preparation activities
Work in a fast-paced environment involving sophisticated intellectual property disputes
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
Active admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Eligible to waive into the D.C. Bar or willing and eligible to sit for the D.C. Bar Exam
2+ years of legal practice experience
Experience participating in at least 5 ITC investigations
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Demonstrated interest in litigation and international trade law
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
