Role Overview

As a Rep-Patient Access, you play a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient experience by accurately scheduling prescribed procedures and managing patient registration. You¿ll communicate with patients, participants, and staff to gather essential information, coordinate schedules, and provide pre-service counseling. Your work directly supports efficient clinical operations and enhances patient satisfaction.

What You Will Do

• Gather necessary demographic, insurance, and clinical information from patients and enter it into the appropriate database.
• Schedule patient procedures efficiently, optimizing both patient time and clinical resources.
• Coordinate and communicate patient schedules with relevant parties.
• Assist with insurance pre-certification and authorization processes.
• Provide counseling to patients or their representatives regarding pre-service requirements and instructions.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, participants, and staff.
• Proficiency in gathering and entering demographic, insurance, and clinical information.
• Skill in scheduling patient procedures and coordinating schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with insurance pre-certification and authorization processes.
• Previous experience in patient registration or healthcare administration.
