Location: Houston, TX

Job Type: local contract

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Pay Range: $15 - $17.40/hr

• Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
• Process and manage patient referrals.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage.
• Ensure medical necessity requirements are met prior to scheduling or services.
• Review referral information for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate with patients, providers, and internal departments regarding referrals and appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient and referral documentation.
• Follow established healthcare policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Provide professional and courteous service to patients and healthcare teams.

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma
• Years of experience: 1+ Year if experience in Patient Services
• Skills/Specialties/Technology: Referral processing experience is required.
