SUMMARY:Responsible for the day-to-day operations of respective medical or dental suite which includes but not limited to the following operational functions of financial collections, patient account management, insurance verification, day end close, balancing batches, posting batches, checking patients in, discharging patients, working error reports, and appointment scheduling, while performing other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The following are indicative of the essential functions required to perform this job successfully. Other duties may be assigned by management. Responsible for all suite financial collections (i.e. co-payments and patient account payments) Schedule patient appointments and provide basic service information. Input data entries and relevant information into Nextgen computerized system. Greet patients and perform excellent customer service skills. Receive and direct patient flow. Responsible for checking in and discharging all patients after service visit Process, balance, and post all day financial batch collections for the day Resolving all kept appointment without charges. Responsible for insurance verification and patient registration Must be able to work all medical, dental and specialty suites Prepares bills for mailing and manage return mail. Review patient account for accuracy, counsels with patients who have delinquent accounts to develop a pay-off arrangement and follows up on all pay-off arrangements. Posts payments to patient accounts. |
